Document Manager

The Document Manager Expansion Module allows the medical staff to import scanned and digital images from paper scanners and digital cameras from within the Medinotes e interface. Resulting files can either be saved into the Medinotes e database or saved to the harddrive with a link to the file. Document Manager utilizes a TWAIN interface which is the most common scanner interface and will accommodate most scanners.

The Medinotes e Document Manager also gives the ability to create a customized organizational tree for multimedia documents and images. With this, it is possible to create new folders for digital images, consent forms, lab results, etc...

For a truly paperless office, it is essential to be able to handle the paperwork that comes from outside of Medinotes e™. This document management module is a simple and effective solution for small offices.

*Digital Camera must be connected to system, and the card must be able to be viewed as a drive by the computer. Most new digital cameras are compatible.
