Patient Monitor

The patient monitor is an extremely practical way to show even more about your patient using customizable tabs that can display multiple panels of information. For example: pictured below is an image of Medinotes e with a custom tab that displays Chief Complaint, Patient Picture, Diagnoses, Treatments, Labs, Immunizations and Medications. Having more information available at a glance, allows you to quickly review your patient's past medical history and provide better care.

Data panels can be moved independently for a completely customized display. To move a panel, simple click on the title bar of the panel and drag the panel to the new location. Patient Monitor will let you know where the panel is going by lighting green bars in a new column or row in the tab display.

Patient Monitor improves your use of Medinotes e by:

  • Better Information Display
Using custom panel layouts, the medical staff will be able to glance at the screen and learn detailed information about the patient. Display layouts can be customized for nurses, physicians or for displaying information for common conditions.
  • Improve workflow by charting directly into the patient's folder
Custom panels can be designed as information gathering tools to improve workflow. A nurse panel could contain history elements, vital signs, medications and immunizations. Information entered into the patient's chart can be pulled into a new note using the "Pull Forward" technology.
  • Customizable for each provider
Providers are able to set display layouts for their exact needs.
  • Printing Functionality
Information may be printed for each display pane for quick reference or to give to the patient.
  • Toggle to full-screen
Each screen can be quickly toggled to full-screen by pressing an icon in the title bar of each pane. In this manner, a great deal of information can be grouped on one page but the details are never more than a click away.
  • ...applies to every object in the program
Every exam object that is stored in the program can be added to a panel. Range of motion, specific eye exams, counseling objects... the sky's the limit.
