Security Manager

In large office settings, the Medinotes e Security Manager allows the system administrator to set activity levels for users on the system for individuals and groups. This utility works on the concept of restricting program functionality.

For example: a user may be given a full provider license, but his/her group may have restrictions placed upon their licenses (inability to sign and close notes, inability to create or modify medical content, etc). Privileges can not be granted above the license level only restricted (i.e. staff licenses can not be given the right to sign notes).

• Creating prescriptions
• Finishing and Saving Notes
• Viewing Notes
• Viewing Treatment
• Viewing Diagnosis

Patient-Based Restrictions:

The Security Manager can also block entire patients from unauthorized users. (i.e. for celebrity or otherwise well-known patients).
